Yeah 7990 Malta looks great it seems more game developer are teaming up with AMD than Nivida , hope to See the next generation HD 8000 beats Nividia cards or at least similar to get some competetion

Developers look to cut costs down so they will turn to AMD since their APU's will be in both Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 and GPU's will have GCN architecture(radeon hd 7xxx series).

/sarcasm

In all seriousness, even if the 7990 is faster in framerates it's going to feel choppier than GTX690 thanks to the insane stuttering with CFX. Now that we have new benchmarking methods arising, AMD's stuttering/latency issues have become apparent enough for them to release an official statement. 690 also has it but nowhere near the same extent....

This is simply untrue and ridiculous. I've owned dual 7970's since launch day and have never experienced this "insane stuttering" you speak of. Then again, I use dxtory or Radeon Pro in all games to cap the framerate at 60 fps. FPS is buttery smooth in all games for me except for Far Cry 3, but that game is just a buggy mess to begin with.

Nvidia had a very similar problem like AMD has now, anyway its not worth screaming and making panic. Its rather just drinking tea with a fellow bloke and trying not to panic since Nvidia tried to have a monopoly like Intel has now and we suffer now, we the customers.

So basically if i wanted to run BF4 well and was looking for a GPU upgrade, the choice is obviously AMD right now.

Why is Nvidia sitting back and allowing for this to happen? Is Nvidia ran by idiots, because I agree with what you say. How long can Nvidia survive on Physx alone. Right now ATI is giving more bang for the buck in their graphics cards. Tho, I think Nvidia is still winning on the Driver Updates, but Ati might even be catching up in that department as well. Ati is the only reason Nvidia has stayed some what fair on their pricing on cards.

Stuff I'm not interested in. biggrin.gif

Handheld market is a risky market to try to become a part of. I think it's a stupid move on Nvidia's part. Nintendo one of the biggest gaming handheld companies, still are not making the type of money they wish they were off handhelds. I'm sure their 3ds is selling better than the Wii-U as of right now but that has to do with Wii-U not having games and no one wanting a Wii-U. biggrin.gif
