I am building a rig, more of a gaming rig and here are the hardware. Are all of them compatible?? if not plz help.

AMD FX 8350

ASRock 970 Extreme 4 Motherboard

Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7970 DDR5 Vapor-X 3 GB 3 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)

Kingston SV300S37A/120G SSD Internal Hard Drive

Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST31000524AS)

Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W 1000 Watts PSU

Cooler Master Seidon 120M Cooler

BitFenix Outlaw APAC Blue Edition Cabinet or
Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower Cabinet

BenQ 21.5 inch LED - GL2250HM Monitor

Asus DRW-24B5ST DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive (Black)

Also Can anyone suggest a Good power supply in 900 or 950watts..Also will the 7970 run at full potential on this motherboard..?
why are you going amd?? Only Gaming?? get a 3570K and a Gigabyte UD3H smile.gif
950W PSU? why man all you need is a 750W for X fire
Cooler master doesn't make the best of the Power supplies. i would go with corsair, seasonic or roswill.
that gpu will run with your build no problems though.
ditch that Cooler master CLC and get Corsair H100i. or if you can. grab a Swiftech H220... the two best CLCs on the market.

Case? are you looking for sleek looks or something with Rage.. sleek i would say get a Corsair Carbide 500R or the NZXT Switch 810...

actually if you can post your budget. the lads here will come up with a monstrous build for the same amount of money.

Price difference may vary as i am from India. But about 1800$
post #4 of 14
Only gaming??
If yes, then why are you opting for FX8350?
And, Asrock 970 extreme 4 is not a very good motherboard to choose.

Next, you have chosen Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W for your rig, which is highly overkill. Save money and go for a descent 50-650Watt PSU, like Corsair HX650 or Seasonic X650.

Overall, not a good & balanced config. Please mention you max budget so that a balanced config can be suggested.

That is completely wrong.
Vapor-X + Oc'ed 2600K (4.4GHz) consumes ~310Watt of power at full load.
If overclocked it consumes 340Watt at max.
