Need an actual case.

Thread Starter
I actually ended up building my open bench "case" but I want a case for whenever I go to Lan Parties, something not too expensive, mainly due to my budget *cough* 60-70 *cough*
I also want something that obviously looks nice and clean, maybe a window or something, not required but still, and the biggest thing would be cable management, if it doesn't have all that good of cable management, then it's a no go for me.
Any suggestions?

Also, it must fit an ATX sized motherboard, otherwise I would be doomed.

I appreciate the help guys!

Well the HAF-912 is an excellent case for the money. Working with it is a breeze. The only thing is that it doesn't have black interior and it doesn't come with a windowed side panel. These both come in the advanced version, but for some reason, those are only sold in Asia.

Right now it's going for a good deal:

You're right about that, it is certainly a great case, I had one a while back, but again like you say, it didn't have a black interior, which for some reason really bothers me, know anything about the NZXT M59? I personally think it looks good, but it doesn't seem like it's a really huge case at all.

Thoughts?

Well it's a mid-tower case, but it more like 'wide' than huge. The M59 isn't a sturdy case at all. The 300R should do it, but it doesn't have a side window. The 410 Phantom has actually gone a bit way up in pricing recently otherwise at the $80 margin, it makes a great mid-tower case.

The Corsair 300R is a bit flimsy according to HardwareCanucks review:

On the other hand they say that the 200R is nice:

Nice, the blue seems a bit much, but I do like it. Still might shoot for that Corsair

I see, so then I'll just stay away from the M59, I need a sturdy case, and I know, but I figure that I could cut one out, I have some plexi-glass layin around and a metal cutting bit for the Dremel, the problem with trying to cut a window for the HAF is that it has an odd shaped side panel, making it a bit trickier to cut out and mod.

As for the 200r, I'm not a huge fan of the look, but I am a huge fan of that bottom fan mount inside the case, mainly because my GPU gets pretty hot.

Well, the 300R's still nice if you don't mind the bit flexible chassis basis. smile.gif
