I will say this you may have got a lucky set but many have had issues lol also you may have gotten one of the odd runs where they used the same ram chips and such as the corsair they did that for a short while on the 8gb gskill ram.

For what it is worth, I havent seen any problems with my 8GB GSkill RAM sticks with my FX. But hey thats just me.
a lot of people have recently had complete in ability to run g skill ram period on the fx platform and 8gb sticks make it even worse period 8gb sticks of any brand have been known to be more finicky to get stable

for me even doing alot of gaming / mild video rendering and such 16gb 4x 4gb sticks has been perfectly capable and they are truly at 1866mhz on all sticks that was tricky to get stable but I did I quess I got a pretty good fx 8350 memory controller on mine the ram I am using is http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Dominator-Platinum-Desktop-CMD16GX3M4A1866C9/dp/B007Z1CUTG/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365352273&sr=1-3&keywords=corsair+dominator+platinum+16gb and it runs flawless but I still had to bump volts a bit to get it stable at c9 timings with 4.6ghz x8 CPU OC and 2600mhz NB OC

you should have already had the issue if that was going to be the case most have the issue within a few hours of playing due to memory errors and such aka blue screen or random shutdown if you have not had these you should be fine.

So what should I do? Also I'm using a Seasonic M12II 520W power supply, it''s been able to handle everything I have thrown at it. I'm eventually upgrading, but as I said I'm a bit tight on cash at the moment. I'm not too sure if it's the ram causing the instability with overclocking my CPU. It could possibly be my power supply just won't put out enough power for all of the parts + overclocking them. But here is my temperatures.

Motherboard:
TMPIN0: 39C
TMPIN1: 37C
TMPIN2: 24C

CPU:
Core#0 24C
Core#1 24C
Core#7 24C
Core#6 24C
Core#3 24C
Core#2 24C
Core#5 24C
Core#4 24C

And they range from core 0, 1, 7 and 6 in the 23 degree area, and the rest on 24, and range between those numbers and 35C

HDD1 is 32C, HDD2 is 35C, HDD3 is 34C, and HDD4 is 35C. GPU is 44C @50% fan speed, but the ambient temperature is quite warm. I'm not too sure if it's the motherboard limits either because apparently this motherboard is good for overclocking, apparently though.

I would personally upgrade the PSU to give myself more future headroom. Save your money until you are able to afford a good PSU. This particular PSU from EVGA comes with a 10 year extended warranty. I have not owned their PSUs. Let me know if you are looking for one so I can give some better suited suggestions.

yeah how long have you had that power supply also over time the components breakdown / degrade and well a 520w psu after 1-2yrs can become 400-450w psu due to this also I want to point out at 4.8ghz most of the fx cpu's actual draw upto and around 300w alone then figure in the ram/motherboard/hardrives/optical drives/cooling fans/and then graphics card that meens you are running very close to or above the 80% load range of the power supply and when a power supply is stressed that hard components inside them breakdown/degrade even faster and well anytime you load a psu above 80% rating you usualy then start getting dirty power output to everything it is connected to which can cause stability issues and even fry components/hardware.

the power supply issues I avoid by going with power supplies with a large single 3v / 5v /12v rails and like to keep them around the 1k power supply range that way I have more than enough to do whatever I need to and add to it regardless of degrade / breakdown of the components inside I am not stressing the power supply all that much and I always stay below 80% load range on any power supply by doing the above things I have a power supply that will last me for years and I never have to worry about overloading a power rail a lot of power supplies now have 4x 12v rails which is not ideal it is very easy to overload one of the 12v rails and then cause a chain reaction that will cause components to fail or power supply to die or plane and simple when going gets tough that rail will shutdown causing a pc shutdown aka instability.

http://www.amazon.com/PC-Power-Cooling-Performance-compatible/dp/B003U29C40/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1365432742&sr=8-2&keywords=pc+power+%26+cooling this is a realy good psu for a realy good price pc power & cooling are in the top tier when it comes to power supplies also ocz bought out pc power & cooling a few years back but this power supply has the internals of a server grade power supply and 5yr warranty for $129.99 and is a 950w continuos load power supply that can be pushed upto 1050w continuos these are a very good deal and are truly bullet proof has large single 3v / 5v / 12v power rails with average of 88% efficiency and MTBF >100,000 also they have a very clean power output with a very strict pfc these are some of the best for the money power supplies on market

that power supply you linked is good and all but for me would be completely useless due to it having 4x 20amp 12v rails you try feeding the cpu / 2x gpus with that and you got a rail being overloaded each 12v rail maxxes out at 240w it has 4. The cpu runs on one 12v rail amd fx 8350 at 4.8ghz x8 draws around 300w alone do you see the issue a single overclocked ati hd 7970 stock draws 195 watts under load overclocked around 250w do you not see another issue with that power supply so if you go 2x7970 or even single with a oc fx 8350 you already have 2-3 12v rails maxxed out / overloaded which is bad. The reason I say this is it gives 2-3 x more chance of failure and it taking other components with it like cpu/motherboard / graphics cards / hardrives / ram and so on power supplies when they up and truly die usualy put out a burst of realy nasty power at time of death (aka send out a burst of nasty ac voltage ) like a lightning bolt going off inside the computer and usualy fry most if not all things connected to it overloading any rails increases the failure rate by 50% or more add 2-3 rails overloaded you got a leaky nuke ready to pop at anytime if you get my meening.

the power supply I linked has one huge 12v rail like 83.40amps and if pushed can do like 90amps safely so maybe now you can understand a bit more about the reason why I look for power supplies with the single voltage high amp rails.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703028&Tpk=PC%20Power%20and%20Cooling%20Silencer%20Mk%20II%20950W&IsVirtualParent=1 look under details and compare the two and you will understand it a bit better

I forgot to mention formula to convert amps to watts is to multiply the amps x the voltage in this case 12v x 20amps= 240w is the formula for each 12v rail on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438006&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6146846&SID=u1qd9hqko7wk
