What's so great about battlefield 3 ? - Page 18

The skill curve is so low, that even aiming is not needed, just play Assault class, jump all over peoples face while hip firing your M16 A3, soon you will see your KD go 136/10.
Just use weapons that get overpowerd every patch, use "No Recoil Macros", complain how some one who tries to play the objective by arming the M-Com is a no-lifer noob.
Oh and don't forget to buy "Premium EA/DICE Butt Licker", good job, now you payed 120$ (or even Euros) for a game with bad net-code, no balance, cheaters, macro noobs, immature kids, blue tint that makes your eyes pop every 30 minutes, that dosen't get patched.

Quake Wars..oh please..Enemy Territory here.

That said, if you think weapons and vehicles are unbalanced, tbh, you're ignorant. This is one of the most balanced FPS games out there.
The default guns are far from crap either.

ITT: Some serious butt hurt BF3 haters gather around a hate jerkin circle.

Srs though, if you don't like the game don't play/support the product by buying it. Posting your hate on here doesn't help and wont do anything because MILLIONS of people will still buy the game and play the game regardless of how YOU feel and wish people would stop playing it. It's just not going to happen.

I guess this categorizes me as a "butt Licker" then just because this guy says so. Cause I ordered and paid instantly day one for the Limited Edition, Premium day one it was available. And plan on doing the same exact methods with BF4 later on this year. Does this make you rage and want to throw your keyboard at the screen? biggrin.gif

What is the topic of this thread? "What's so great about battlefield 3" so I posted my thoughts on a thread where you are supposed to post about the game and if you like it or not.
I don't see how I failled.
Ofc people will keep buying it, but if you wanted to buy a ticket to a show, and many people have bad opinions about it, you might consider buying a ticket to that show, you might like and you might not like it, we are just telling you what our thoughts are.

No, this does not make me rage, it dosen't even bother me, do what you want with your money, not my problem.
The game, has potential, but EA pushed the DICE to release it before it was finished, after that, they barely patch the game - making it broken, then they make it so a single class can be the most powerfull one, they make it have the mose powerfull gun.
Other then the horrific net-code this game has.

Don't foget to get the next BF4 DLC!

Where did I say you failed?

Anyways BF3 to me is simply the best FPS available at the moment, nothing comes close. And it seems people forget that BF3 has a rather large fan base and it didn't just happen over night, for instance I've been playing Battlefield since 1942 and onwards, it makes me smile to see how much advancement the series has taken. And am willing to pay full price for every installment. And simply do not give a rats behind on what people think if it's being milked, or overcharged. I think it's worth it.

Just like there are die hard fanbois that purchase every CoD and expansions every year and Halo's religiously every release, well I'm the same way with BF.

To be honest I don't have one regret paying what I have payed so far in the BF series, it was worth every single penny. A true value in gaming you wont find anywhere else.

Not true, it's probably the most unbalanced PvP shooter I've ever played. Most assault rifles have the same damage and there are some with high ROF, and others with much lower ROF. How is this balanced if they have the same damage, and both are easy to control? Another example is, the Barrett M98B usually kills in two shots, and so do the semi-automatic sniper rifles.

The MP7A1 and P90 are useless, and so were shotguns last time I checked. Many guns are totally useless in BF3, and its funny how some of the useless ones are unlocked later. Weapon attachments are even more unbalanced. The game had better gun balance at launch.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about Quake Wars Enemy Territory where it was very balanced. The opposing forces were asymmetrical but very balanced overall. I loved ETQW and wish it was still active. it had high hardware requirements when it came out (8800GTX released about the same time) and I think that put allot of players off.

I found most of the shotguns to be pretty useful if you play them right. Obviously you can't really use them on maps like Caspian or Firestorm but you can use it on a few of the closer quarters maps

If he was, then my mistake. But this is a BF3 thread. tongue.gif

I haven't played for some time but I recall them nerfing shotguns, especially frag rounds which had the most ridiculous bullet drop I've ever seen. I think it was the Saiga-12 that was totally useless; at point blank range only giving me hit markers and never a kill. Other shotguns were good on the few very tight TDM maps if you played them right.
