Amazon sent me wrong gtx 670 so I upgraded to a 680 ftw+

Thread Starter
Amazon stated the particular evga super clocked card in was getting had a mem clock of 6210, and when I tested the card not only did I find out it was only 6008 (not a biggie) but the card only overclocks to 1124mhz. Meh.

So I bought the EVGA gtx 680 ftw+ 4096mb so that hopefully I can get a killer oc

Those about to post saying 2gb VRAM is more than enough. I thought so too....

Until bioshock infinite and crysis 3 came out and I run 2048x1152, which is 30% more pixels than 1080p and both those games love VRAM which I think we will start seeing a lot more games utilize.

I'm stoked about the ftw edition

I use 2200-2400mb of VRAM playing modded crysis 1 and 2 as well as skyrim at 1080p. 2gb will quickly run out as resolutions keep going up.
