Tomb Raider 2600k Stock vs OC +Performance?

First of all my OS Win 7 Ultimate x64 won't boot now, it was on a WD Caviar Blue 500GB Sata3 7200RPM,
Now I am playing Tomb Raider in a Hitachi 2.5" 5400RPM Sata2, yeah much slower.
For now 2600K is on stock 3.4GHz. Only a 560 900MHz(I clocked it up yeah XD) but luckily(not so much), I am just using a small acer monitor, 1366 x 768, so not 1080p :')

I wonder if there would be a significant performance boost if I OC the 2600k to 4.5GHz?
And yeah I would be reinstalling Windows 7 in that WD Caviar Blue later... I'll just transfer my saves, btw I just started.

Does anyone experienced a performance boost coming from a stock CPU setting to an OCed one?
And yeah.. does Nvidia cards still suffer with TressFX? And I am downloading the latest Nvidia Geforce driver, I wish my 560 will benefit from it with Tomb Raider even if its not like the 600's boost.

Yeah 500 series still benefit from latest driver releases not just 600 series

I had a pretty high boost on Tomb Raider with optimized drivers and my 560 Ti.

Yes. I have the same CPU OC'ed to 4.2GHz and have noticed a significant performance boost. It is fairly easy to OC too.

Yeah I can easily OC to 4.5 too bcoz its a 2600k.
Yeah based on the notes, up to +60% performance improvement in tomb raider for 600 series, i wonder how many with 560 :")

So theres a boost if I OC past 4Ghz, so yeah tomb raider sucks on stock haha.
thanks for telling ur experiences.
