What about OC, which model of both have voltage unlocked ? sorry for dump questions but I need to know before purchase. thanks in advance

if ur gaming at 1080p a 7950 will be fine.

so to be clear I need to choose now between:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-msi-radeon-hd7950-twin-frozr-oc-be-5000mhz-gddr5-gpu-880mhz-1792-cores-dvi-hdmi-mdportpluscrossf

and

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-gigabyte-radeon-hd-7950-windforce-3x-5000mhz-gddr5-900mhz-1792-cores-dual-link-dvi-i-hdmi-mdpplu

Im going to work atm so Ill have a look on the reviews 2morrow and hopefully make the decision

Its not about high OC but just a bit so will see. Anyway i like Gigabyte because of the 3 fans and 3 years warrantya and great support. I dont know anything about MSI tbh

I told you about MSI customer support. It is amazing. Better than Gigabyte IMO. Everyone at MSI is so nice and they don't try to get you off the phone as soon as possible. They make sure all of your questions are answered and make you feel comfortable. BTW if you are going to be playing newer games you are going to want to have a high overclock. Even if you think that you aren't going to.You are going to see that you aren't getting the FPS you were looking for and then push the card. Not giving you crap or anything like that, I'm just saying that because I said the same thing before I bought my card. BTW my TFIII temps are 65c at full load and the VRM's get to about 74c. That is at 1225/1625 at the stock boost voltage of 1.25v, but in the end it is your choice.

thanks guys, Ive just ordered MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **NEW REVISION**

I hope I'm not gonna regret that decision

220 is a nice price, 230 inc. delivery me thinks. not bad. You won't regret it, good cooler (I have a 7850 with that cooler), quiet and efficient. Let us know how you get on.
