Sorry, I know this is kind of an old post, but I have another question. First off I do not know what the brand PSU is, but I would assume not the best since I bought this computer premade. Anyways, I have having an issue with my computer randomly freezing (no BSOD/auto restart). I have recently lowered my OC to 4.4GHz and everything is stable and fine (at least so far). I have ran prime95 for over 12 hours and left my computer on non stop with no issues. I then decided to increase it back to 4.5Ghz and 5 mins into windows it froze. I am almost certain that 4.5Ghz it the point of instability.
As I have told you already, I can only overclock using offset. My vcore maxes at 1.344v at 4.4Ghz and my max temp after 12 hours of prime 95 was 73c. Would trying to get it stable at 4.5Ghz be worth it? I feel like I would have to increase my voltage too much to make it worth it.
