i was going buy the current 7850 bundle to replace my 5770... but i would rather get Battlefield 4. so i think ill wait till the next bundle.

Yet another? This is quite insane, all these new bundles with titles people actually want. They're doing a fantastic job on those, though slightly sad I won't be getting any. What I get for a investing towards Titans. Step it up please Nvidia redface.gif

I guess I'll be the voice of opposition here.

Unless you get your choice of game(s) that will be included with your new video card purchase (say from a list of about 10), I would much rather just have the cost of my video card REDUCED by the average cost of the game.

If I want a game, I'll buy it. I don't want to pay for some game that I may not care about just because a video card manufacturer THINKS I might want to play it just because I'm buying a new video card.

LolWUT? BF4 and Watchdogs?!?!?Seems I'll have to go CF earlier than I expected lol. Seems I made the right call going 7950 this gen.

They've pretty much bundled every good AAA game from the past 12 months: FarCry 3, Sleeping Dogs, Bioshock Infinite, Hitman:Absolution, Crysis 3, Tomb Raider(they knew Medal of Honor:Warfighter was going to be a puke, instead of bundling it for free they offered a discount for masochist lol). I wasn't going to buy BF4, but if it comes with a card, might as well give it a go in MP. And Watchdogs seems very promising, so it's a win for AMD and their customers.

You think the games bundled cost to them the same as retail/digital download to us?Your "average" reduction would be next to none. If you don't own them, you get the best latest games for free with your card at no additonal cost. If you own them or you're not interested in them, you can sell the keys for quite a sum.

It's a win win, and your reasoning that AMD is trying to interfere with your free will is just pure madness in my opinion.

Pretty clear AMD is trying to please the consumers. Great bundles, good prices, addressing its problems with micro stutter. I know many people dont care, but AMD is bleeding a lot of money, and needs customers, so hopefully this is another hit.

I bet they will have battlefield 4 in an end of year bundle. BF4 is AMD gaming evolved, nvidia probably not too happy about that.

It doesn't work like this. GPU manufacturers get an extreme discount on games which would amount to mere pennies/dollars, where consumers are forced to pay full price at release of 59$ or more (i'm talking NEW RELEASE prices). Furthermore, every video card that has ever had a game bundle did not go down in price following the end of the promotion. Remember nvidia cards and Batman? AC3? etc. It's because they pay practically nothing for the games. You benefit as a consumer.

You can also sell them for full price in the classifieds if you wish, most people made 60$ with their AMD game bundles. Easy money. Very very easy money.

There is always that 1 person. List of 10? What better games came out this month then Crysis 3, Bioshock and Tomb Raider?

I seriously doubt it is "no additional cost". Everything costs someone something ... unless the games are so bad that they are freeware.

I never said that AMD is "trying to interfere with your freewill". Maybe you should actually learn to read what I said before you try putting forth that strawman argument up against me.
