[Fudzilla] AMD preparing new Never Settle bundle - Page 11

I wonder exactly how much this is costing AMD - obviously they aren't paying per game, but there must be some kind of fee they are paying the developer or publisher to be able to bundle the games. Otherwise the developer would have no incentive to bundle their games (they'd just sell them at retail). My guess is this program is costing AMD millions and they are paying that money to the developers upfront - which of course helps the games get made, which benefits everyone. But AMD is certainly paying more than pennies.

I find it interesting that Nvidia has basically abandoned TWIMTBP, I wonder if they decided it wasn't worth the return on investment, or if it is part of their general turn towards mobile.

the 7000 series are going to be used,

According to our sources AMD is working on yet another Never Settle bundle that might be even more impressive than what we had a chance to see with the first Never Settle bundle, launched in October last year, and the Never Settle Reloaded that showed up with Radeon HD 7900/7800 series graphics cards in February this year.

i would highly recommend the 7950, save the money, and get that extra GB of GDDR5 memory, and run Battlefield 4, effortlessly.

I've become addicted to League of Legends and I live in a room with very thin walls, + I just had finals, so it's been slow. I am trying to keep uploading videos on a regular basis, but I haven't been so good about it.

After watching this, people should also note that the actual amount of latency it takes to show stuttering is different for every person, that those results seem to possibly be under the effect of certain optimizations (Watch the Sleeping Dogs review, look at the lights outside...The differences are clear) and that really, it's unknown how bad it actually is or how much of an affect it actually has on your user experience
I can say that I'm very happy with my HD7950 however, I certainly haven't noticed any more stuttering than I had with my GTX 470 apart from when FPS is low. (Which was a lot more on the 470, obviously)

Or of course, you could forget all of that, go on about how user experience doesn't matter, etc like Reniary was in the other thread. thumb.gif

Pretty much the same exact experience here. Except I went from a 470, to SLI 470's, to a 7950, and then to my current setup which is crossfire 7950's. My experience has been pretty uniform across all my setups. With some slight microstutter issues on both dual card setups. Nothing a little tweaking/better drivers doesnt fix.

i wouldnt say so. With the 8xxx series to be held off, they need more things like this to drive sales for the next quarter or so.
