. I cannot get the tubing over the barbs on the pumps and it was going to be awkward having to use the side barb as the inlet so I have decided to buy the acrylic bitspower pump top but I was to late with my order to get it delivered tomorrow. This means that I have to wait until I get back. I have started doing some of the tubing runs already but cannot upload any pics as I have no pc.
there are a few tricks if you ar trying to get a too small tubing over bigger barbs (which those swifttek pums normally have, considering people generally use 3/8ths inch tubing and the pump barbs are either 1/2 an inch i believe.
I saw a video today on the ncixcom YT channel, i believe part 3 of a watercooling build. You should check it out. But basicly what he said was: hold the end of the tube in hot water for a few secs to soften up the tubing, and after that grab some thongs and just use them to strech the tubing out in around about 4 directions from inside out. Then simply apply force. I would like to add to that that it's probaply clever to put the tube back in the hot water, becouse it's probaply cooled down a bit, and thus stiffened up.
Just subscribed to ya, would love to see the build finished
