The mods are looking promising for you! The squaring seems like it'll be a good fit for you because it'll cut out the damaged section! And you can just use double sided tape to stick it on the section you cut to.

Got some work done today but not a lot. I managed to sort the support out:

Fits in there well and appears to support the mid plate well, for now.
Now I was going to start the side window mod today but then I thought that my regular dremel cutting wheel is not going to be enough to cut through the side panel of the 800D. If I am right in my assumption then what should I use to cut through it?

If you press to much on the wheel and cut too fast with it, espect it to melt fast.

More wheels or a jigaw if you can find one.

Don't forget to use masking tape .

You can use the wheel to start the corners and then use a jigsaw with a metal blade for the straight cut. If you can make a perfect straight cut, you won't need to use the channel molding, I personnally think that u-channel gives a less cleaner look than a straight edge repainted.

Already put on the masking tape. I would rather not have to vuy more equipment. Ill have a look around and see if I can find a better cutting wheel.

The cages are real easy to get out, you are just going the wrong way about removeing the rivets. I removed everything from my Corsair 800D, all I did was drill them out, takes like 2 seconds with a good bit. I also mounted Three 360mm Rads, check it out:

Thanks but I have already removed the cages. Just required a bit of force smile.gif. I am now waiting for my accessories box for my dremel so I have the re-inforced cutting wheel to cut the side panel. That will come tomorrow.
