Need upgrade advice - Page 2

I'm not gonna put too much into it. I have no idea how old this thing is and no idea when something else might fry. I just wanna play on something better than my laptop, which can play GW2 on lowest settings and still can't hit 25 FPS. My old rig had a dual core CPU and dual 6850's and could play Skyrim at almost max, but that was about 6-9 months ago. With this rig, a new GPU and PSU, I should be ok for a little while. I'll check out that 7850.

Sorry to beat a dead horse (it's been recent, however), but would this GPU be sufficient for GW2, Skyrim, and/or Borderlands 2?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125454

It has better core and memory clocks than the 2 7850's I am also making a decision on, but has ~150 less stream processors and is only 128-bit. However, it does have 2GB of memory, and is $50 cheaper. Any sound advice is appreciated.

I love how people suddenly stop replying in this forum, still great information though so I can't complain.
So two days later~
It wouldn't go to highest settings but would be sufficient.
If you could I'd check for a 7850 with 2Gb vram (7790 has 128bit memory, 7850 has 256, even if everything doesn't match in stats the 256 will be faster)
Its new enough to move to a new computer if you ever get one, and shouldn't be a big bottleneck, letting your computer game pretty hard. smile.gif

Search it again before you buy it but since this is on sale for $10 more than the one you linked
