Well, that settles it - if I splurge on that 3770k, I'll surely delid via this method thumb.gif
I'd say I'm tight on cash, but I'm not. The problem is that I'm just a compulsive saver xD

Hey that's alright too.

I'm kicking myself though. I've been trying to tell myself to save money.

Since then I've purchased 3 mousepads, a PS Vita, 3 games, and a watercooled used computer. doh.gif

I'll probably sell the Sabertooth when I get it back from service. The pins were all aligned but the VGA_LED kept lighting up.

Maybe my bad luck with the silicon lottery might help you save.

I seem to have DOWNGRADED from a 2600k to a 3770k.

Well my 2600k did 4.4 GHz with 1.32V, which is meh.

I then put it into a dedicated folding rig, and bought a Sabertooth Z77 + 3570k and the 3570k does 4.5 GHz with 1.2V, which is nice.

I guess I forgot to mention I am selling some old technological items I don't need anymore locally, maybe simplify life a bit lol.

I've got some CLU on the way and plan to delid next week when it arrives.

Should I use the CLU or Arctic MX-4 on top of the IHS?
