The 8350 and the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 combo, if I decide to.
My computer is mainly used for gaming, and some heavy processing. i have an older c3 Phenom II 965 @ 4.1ghz and it runs well, but its showing its age, in after effects and converting video. That, paired with my GTX 570 makes for a semi-outdated build.
As a gamer first, I was wondering what you recommend my course of action be. I know I will see imediate results if I upgrade to a gtx 670, a good 30% boost in gaming performance, but as of right now, most games run perfectly fine, without a hitch. (Crysis 3 even, at mostly Very High settings)
Basically, should I go with upgrading the most outdated part(s) first, my cpu and mobo? I know this is sort of a personal question, where it depends on what I want, but i was curious of other's opinions. My GTX 570 is starting to show its age, but it still gets 45fps in Witcher 2, about 30 in Crysis 3 (with motionblur thats fine with me) and about 50-60+ in everything else. I'm thinking about going for the CPU....any input?
