Memory bandwidth bottleneck because it's a BD architecture, it's very memory bandwidth hungry and 1600MHz surely bottlenecks the 8150
I've been reading this forum and sharing it with a few friends and I'm coming to the same conclusion as DaveLT...
Still 1600MHz should not be doing this much damage...... confused.gif
When overclocking what settings in BIOS did u change?? do you have CPU-Z? If you can please check what your DRAM Frequency is under the memory panel in CPU-Z.
Something dont smell right here hmmsmiley02.gif. If all else fails try a fresh OS instal and 2nd newest drivers, since you're using the newest now right?

OK try this for now...
1. Put both CPU and GPU back to stock
2. Re-install 2nd newest drivers for GPU ( ask in this forum which drivers they may be http://www.overclock.net/t/1232473/official-nvidia-gtx680-owners-club.
3. Download and instal CPU-Z and under the memory tab check your DRAM Frequency... should be 800.

That should give people a better picture as to whats happening.. if the problem still persists then we can rule out the drivers for now.

If you're ram is at 800 then try to overclock and check results... if there's a SIGNIFICANT improvement then it may be the RAM

EDIT: 306.97 should be sufficient.

hey Someguy8912 I explained to you about turning off avg while running your games and benchmarks and some guy up there said it wouldn't bring a system to its knees. So
I did a little test I loaded avg up and let it run while playing with some other stuff.

Truth of the matter av sucks down on an estimate between 15-20% of a machines resources it caused stuttering and lag where I have never had any lag so whoever it was
that said it wont bring a machine to its knees you better think again.

trust me someguy and turn off at least avg and try it see what happens you might get a nice surprise.
also your memory may not overclock well but you can get some G. Skill 2133 Mhz Ripjawz 9-10-11-28 memory from newegg 4x4 for 150 free shipping
even though the processor only supports 1600mhz the board itself will use the 2133 memory I think those 2 things amd chps are notorius for loving a high memory speed
with slightly loser timmings my machine loves them and I think yours will to try it if nothing else works.

check your voltages in the BIOS also open up GPUz and see what your card is running at on the PCI Express slot it may be stuck at 1x or something
