Intel i5-2500k 4.5 GHz overclock readings good?

I'm running and i5-2500k with a gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 mobo and ATI radeon HD 6850 graphics card and 8GB of corsair vengeance 1866 ram. I have currently been running prime 95 for 5-10 minutes and temps average around 71 C with a vCore of 1.056 v and a VID of around 1.41-1.44. Now I was told that the VID is just the requested amount and the vCore is what the processor is actually using so you want to pay attention to the vCore instead of the VID. is this true? Here are some pics 4.5 OC.PNG 901k .PNG file

Your VCore can't be 1.056, CPU-Z Shows that for my 2500k too, and others have reported the same, try AIDA64, it will report an accurate VCore.
As for Prime, high 70's is quite high for only 20 mins. If you want to test your OC you should use IntelBurnTest, it's quicker and stresses and heats your CPU more than prime.

How have you done your voltage? Did you set it manually or did you set 'Auto' or 'Normal' in the BIOS?

Okay I will try that out and I am also getting a 1.06 reading in CPUID HW Pro. I updated to the new bios which you can use your mouse on (U1D) and it took away my vcore function and gave me a dynamic vcore which you can not adjust or i dont know how all it displays next to it is (+0.000)

So I just got AIDA64 and intel burn test and my vCore is not excedding 1.344 V and my cpu temp was at 70 and cpu package varies around 50-78. I was running intel burn test on standard and at the end of the test said that running on standard and passing is an indication that the sytem is stable.

You mean you updated to a UEFI BIOS? Ideally on a 2500k, you can set the VCore to 'Normal' and raise your multiplier, this way the motherboard will do all the thinking and set the voltage to a reliable amount, instead of the user setting a manual value, and allows the CPU's clock speed and voltage to drop when the system is idle.
I've got a Gigabyte Z68 Mobo and i didn't bother updating to UEFI but if you had a VCore setting to begin with, you should probably still have one now.

I get exactly that voltage reported in AIDA64 and HWMonitor for my 2500k @ 4.3Ghz with 'Normal' VCore setting. What settings are you testing on? You're going to want to test on Very High or Max for 10-20 Passes in IBT.
70C Is a decent temp when you're testing at those setting. I get around there too when i test on Very High for 10 passes in IBT.
1.34v for 4.5Ghz is decent, i'm getting the same voltage for 4.3Ghz, but every chip is different.
