LOL there is no way dude. The i5 isn't bottle necking anything.

run 3D Mark. even my i7 paired with my single 7950 needs to be oc'ed to 4.5GHz in order to keep up. run it. i'll wait.

I suspect a driver issue or a bad card as OP said.

No chance can a 3570K bottleneck a 7950 or even a pair of them.

On what world do you need to overclock the crap out of an i7 to maintain a single 7950? 3dmark is just a benchmark, not a legitimate game, so whatever you are getting isn't correct.

If that was the case, anyone who bought a graphics card that was higher than the 7950, even with the best CPU would be bottlenecked by it. That makes no sense.

Do both cards work fine on there own?

Have you disabled ULPS?

Is the power slider on +20% ?

Also my 2500k @4.6 is bottlenecking my 7950's in bf3, but Bioshock infinite plays fine.
