It is normal part of the molding processes since keys are made in batches and are attached to each other by little plastic rods. They are broken off after they're done molding. Most manufacturers keep this on the backside so you can't see it while using the keyboard. There is a good picture of this I'll try to find it.

Here you go. These are by SP though and they have the markings on the front...not well thought out:

Seems legit.

My new Tenkeyless Filco Majestouch 2 has it aswell.
