Morphological Filtering - Stuck On

Thread Starter
So here is my problem. Everything was running just fine then I decided to make some application profiles. So why not try RadeonPro I asked? I began there. Made some profiles, played with the settings and was displeased. So I removed the profiles and uninstalled RadeonPro.

Problem is, those settings are still persistent. How do I know? Because I selected Morphological Filtering to be on for several games (within the profiles) and it still is. A lot of text in these games is illegible or the game just looks like my 4 year old daughter colored it (everything blurred).

Anyone have any clues on this?

Steps taken so far:
Complete driver removal (uninstall catalyst install manager, delete ATI/AMD files, remove registry entries)
Reinstall driver, problem still exists

DriverSweeper
Reinstall driver, problem still exists

Graphics Cards:
2x7970 xFire
13.3 BETA Driver

Welcome to Overclock.net.

Try the following :-
Re-download RadeonPro again --> make those game profiles again --> return everything to default values manually.

Tried that before... I conveniently just saw that there was a save changes button in the bottom left corner. I guess clicking that helps, eh? Thank you. Everything is working well again.

save changes is only for the GLOBAL profile, individual app profiles dont require saving..

there is no way RP is still appling profiles after its uninstalled, it requires a service to read the xml file which is no longer present after uninstall.

its in CCC.

check MLAA, then uncheck it.

Something was forcing the profile. I did a complete uninstall if RD and CCC even went thru and deleted all remaining files, folders and registry entries. Reinstall 13.3 Beta and the profiles were still applied. It puzzled me. So I reinstalled RD reset the global profile and SAVED CHANGES (wasn't doing that before). After that everything went back yo normal.

sounds like MLAA was applied through a registry setting and didnt get cleaned out properly.

more of a CCC issue than RP.

did you do as i suggested and check, then uncheck it in CCC to reset the reg entry?

I had tried that previously and it did not work.

The issue was resolved after I did as I described above and reinstalled RadeonPro and set the global profile to defaults and saved changes.
