Hey im on the market for a new mATX board, but there are only a few that can do crossfire with two 16x pci slots. If anyone could list a few good ones it would be appreciated. also I will be overclocking. thanks

What socket? There's not really any AM3+ mATX boards that can do Crossfire. For FM2 there is the ASUS F2A85-M PRO. It's the only board AFAIK that will do x8/x8 on dual GPUS (no board will do x16/x16; most do x16/x4) but it doesn't make sense to buy an APU just to not use the integrated graphics and go to two dedicated cards.

So basically what you're looking for, there are no good options and I don't see a point of doing it anyway. Either buy a MicroATX board for FM2 and run hybrid crossfire, or go full ATX if you're wanting to Crossfire.

I cringe when I see mATX crossfire (or SLI) setups, unless it's watercooled there is almost no air gap between cards. Not sure what GPU's your considering but maybe just go with non-crossfire mATX and then get a 7990?

Oh wow I cant believe I forgot to mention the socket and yes it's AM3. I was looking for two 16x pci slots because I dont really understand how hybrid crossfire works, but if it can be done im willing to give it a try. If you could explain hybrid crossfire a bit it would be appreciated.

this is the board I was looking at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B5NO5E/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A22WDFGR5I1U9E

@ BinaryDemon

yes I will be putting blocks on the GPU's so no worries there, I dont have 2 GPU's right now but I would like a Mboard that will allow me to expand in the future.

That board doesn't support Vishera though :/ And the MSI 4 + 1 power phase is probably the worst thing out there for overclocking, especially if you're putting a 6 core Thuban or Zambezi in there. The board supports Zambezi but I guarantee you will need to put in an AM3 CPU to flash the BIOS.

What CPU and GPUs are you putting in there? If you're doing a fancy setup where you're putting some money into it with waterblocks and everything just go Intel. There are plenty of high end mATX Z77 boards where on AMD there are 0 worthwhile AM3+ boards. You won't have to worry about overclocking because the boards are actually well made and you get higher IPC anyway out of 1155 chips. I would not trust the 4 + 1 phase MSI VRMs to handle any OC. If you search around the forums people are plagued with them killing their boards from MSI with similar power circuitry.

Hybrid crossfire is just when you use the integrated graphics in combination with a discrete card. So it's "hybrid" crossfire. But performance really isn't the best. For lightweight gaming you're better off just sticking with using the APU's integrated graphics.

I have been thinking about switching but I am torn between that or a water cooling loop right now. im gonna go look at some intel boards and cpu's now, but I dont really know what would be a good setup for me.
