RAM finding

Thread Starter
Hey people, so I've been looking for RAM for my build can someone recommend me some DDR3 8GB RAM? And the price range of $1-$65. I've been looking at these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186 . I'm not into video editing or anything.

For the same price you can get better. Same price, same lifetime warranty, same frequency, low profile heatspreaders, same voltage but tighter timings. Meaning the memory is faster and has the potential to be overclocked more.

Or buy any of these kits for identical ICs but are lower cost.

Identical timings and voltages, yes. Identical ICs under the hood...I wouldn't be too sure about that.

Lots of 9-9-9-24 @1.5v stuff from Elpida, Powerchip and Nanya so without looking at serial numbers (for GSkill branded), or version numbers (for Corsair branded) it is really a crap shoot as to what is under the hood of those modules.

Edit:
Here is another alternative that one of the other fellas posted about in the Online Deals section...$48 shipped...one of the better deals currently available.
