overclocking a old XP 3000+

Im using the old athlon XP 3000+ AND i can only get it to overclock from 2.17 to 2.35 is that all im going to get? If I lower the mulipliyer it gos in to like 800mhz so im only messing with the 166MHZ and uping it to 175 or so. Ss there more I can do and I have a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo with only 512 DDR 333 just for some stats

see how high you can clock the ram...or find some ddr400...

steer clear of ram dividers..NF2 dont like those..

You can try overclocking your ram to match the FSB. I forget what setting it is.. it's with the other ram settings, you should put it to something like "By SPD" which will keep the RAM at 1:1 ratio with the FSB. Then try and give your ram some extra voltage. If it's value ram you may not get very high though. I can only seem to go to about 208 with this Kingston value ram. after that it's unstable.
