X79 UD3 Just Died?

Thread Starter
I had been getting massive issues on the latest bios, so I back tracked down to F9. Now, when the PC starts, I get a cmos checksum error but I can't select any of the options available, as if my keyboard is not detected, which it has been.
Is the board bricked?

Cleared CMOS memory? Going backwards in BIOS versions will usually invalidate whatever CMOS settings you had previously.

You also have an active thread going on this same board with VRM overheating issues, I wonder if going backward in BIOS versions is going to help or hurt your current VRM temp situation.

Greg

Hopefully help, as I'm currently trying to OC on the Beta Bios.
