Crossfire question regarding micro-stutter and 5770s.

I have 5770s crossfired and the micro-stutter is killing me. Should I just go with one 5770 and give the other to the Mrs who is using a 4850? Or is there some magic trick to make the micro stutter go away?

what version Catalyst driver are you using? and what game are you using.
Radeon Pro is a great program for single or multi GPU gaming use. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I have the same motherboard with HD 5850 CF. no micro-stuter issue with my old cpu ( x4 at 3.6GHz and 2600NB).
Try overclocking your CPU and GPU. But the HD 5850 is more powerful. Don't know about CF 5770? but
the new driver scale better and support games better.

Try Catalyst 13.2 Beta7, CAT 12.11 Beta11 or CAT 12-2
(use CAT 12.11 CAP2 with all pre CAT 13.2 drivers).

Give Radeon Pro a try

Ive been using the latest beta drivers. no matter what i get this annoying micro stutter. I think ill just give one card to the wife and run a single gpu until i can afford to upgrade.
