I'd agree with this assessment, one thing to add is that the Control has less perceivable "control" or static friction than the Speed.

Really liking the 3.0 + Control, may have to give the EC1 a try on the Control.

Goliathus speed is fast regardless. Control edition is faster than some plastic pads rofl

Some may even argue that the control version is "too fast" and opt for speed instead.
Probably "fastest" cloth out there.
