[fireuser] Deus Ex Human Revolution and Far Cry 3 streamed from Radeon Sky 700 via CiiNOW

These two videos are the first glimpses I have seen of real games being streamed from an AMD Radeon Sky graphics card. These videos are iPhone video captures from GDC 2013. This is the real thing running over the Internet - no special tricks or special bandwidth involved.

Take a look at Deus Ex Human Revolution and Far Cry 3 streamed over the Internet from a single Radeon Sky 700 via CiiNOW. Cloud gaming is real (and FirePro Server graphics technology is behind it).

Remember that other streaming service and how it could stream games? Honestly, I forgot it's name.

You mean Onlive, its still alive... Maybe those AMD Sky cards will help them since they are build for that use.

I have a hunch that console gamers will just jump to the bandwagon on this one and have an argument its cheaper than gaming PC's and then in the long run it will cost them more.

Well its nice to see that one Sky 700 GPU can stream 6 720p games and most likely if someone wants 1080p then 2 most likely.

So I knew this was possible for a while. Onlive streaming service would only make sense if done like this IMO. This is great news for laptop/tablet makers I believe. Hopefully this stuff makes it into mainstream. Gaming on the go, or not just gaming but also many other aspects.

So instead of an external GPU, we get cloud. Rethinking, I am a bit of a mixed bag on this but progress is progress I suppose

What. Like the 1st gen iPhone? Cause my iPhone 4S records video with the stock video app in HD. So.... yeah. That's not an excuse.
