Use the extra dough for a nice ssd boot drive or something else. Or...

7950=$300 approx
680=$500 approx
One 7950 not quite enough? just get another one. And still be not that much over the price of a single 680. Prices are assuming you're in North America.

At 1080p definitely a 670/80. The 7950/70 are good too, but the 670 gets my vote.
