Looking for quiet fans

Hello everyone - it looks like I'm gonna be getting another 6950 this weekend. I used to have two 6950's, and with a 250mm and 120mm exhaust fan (plus the 120-140mm intake in the front) in my HAF 922 I got some decent temps. However, both of those exhaust fans have died - which hasn't been a problem with a single card. After all, I still have an intake. (and the H80 flowing out the back as well).

I bought this fan, but it didn't seem very quiet: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835553006

I'm basically looking to keep my 6950's within safe operating temps while having as little noise as possible. I would need 3x 120mm, or one 120mm and one 250mm.

EDIT: I cannot use the silicon push-pins, needs to be screwed in

Also, when buying my second 6950: best if I get another non-reference card that blows into the case, or one that exhausts out the back? my current card is non-reference and the second card would be sandwiched in between the first card and a sound card (which I didn't have when I had two cards).

I've used the high CFM Cougar fans. They're not the quietest fans but for the CFM they put out they're pretty quiet (when they work correctly). I had two on my H80 and they were great until the motor in one started whining which seems to be a common problem. It eventually died after only 3 months. So I switched my H80 fans to two Gelids lower CFM but I haven't noticed any increases in temps tbh.

They're way quieter than the Cougar fans, I cant hear the motor at all, not to mention it's almost been a year since I switched them and theyre both still going strong.

Scythe slipstreams are also good as case fans. Had some of those, iirc they just don't have amazing static pressure so not recommended for the H80.

They wouldn't be for the H80, I'm content with whichever fan that's using. I'm gonna be mounting fans on the top and side of the case (which is why I can't use silicone pins) most likely all as exhaust.

I was checking this out: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scythe-D1225C12B4AP-14-GENTLE-TYPHOON-120MM-FANS-1450RPM-/310415087467?pt=US_Computer_Case_Fans&hash=item48462e576b

Too bad they don't have the 800rpm or 1,150rpm ones frown.gif
