Are Xfx 7850/7870/7950/7970 good?

As i say in the title,i want to ask about xfx models.
I ve read not the best reviews about em,and they say that they have not so good cooling system ,but is it true?I mean you really see a difference?
Look here.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Graphics-XFXAMD-HD7870N-AGDDR5-RAMPCIe-Mini-DisplayPort/dp/B007MJGMYA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=KP1CDMT013BV&coliid=I3DD97Q0BCRBY2

http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-RADEON-7950-800M-HDMI/dp/B00713RT62/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3IFQZ4SWNQOPQ&coliid=I13DUYENUOEM09

http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-FX-797A-TDBC-Graphics-DisplayPorts-Dual-Link/dp/B006W3ZU4U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3IFQZ4SWNQOPQ&coliid=I2AOJL4RPY7ZGH

(Tbh i don't care about 7850 but for the others)

Look at these prices. at 7870 price range, you can buy other brands too (Btw amazon uk for an unknown reason doesn't have msi TF or hawk)
Also in this price range you can buy also this tahiti
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Club-3D-HD7870-Graphics-Processors/dp/B00AAAFE7E/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=29111J3CHZXL6&coliid=I3O0RDI37AR2HR
The Xfx one is not tahiti but surely it has better cooling.
At that price range you can buy also GA7870 and Asus, but i think 78xx versions of asus are not that great.
Somewhere here you can also recomend me if i will go for an even more cheap gpu, like evga 660gtx SC or GA 660gtx oc

Now for the 7950 range, i would love to have this monster
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-DirectCU-Graphics-Express-Technology/dp/B008NF3R1I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1OC2HUKVPDDIR&coliid=IISAW5QTD4KLZ
with Phenomenal cooling. But its becoming more and more expensive for a weird reason.
Just today i saw the Xfx version and i know it looks like beast too,not like asus but anyway, but its not have such a nice cooling for sure. I would Oc it a bit, just before the limits of stock Voltages, but i dont care so much about that.(with asus i would push its limits tbh)

Also for 7970 ,they are still expensive as well,a liiitle bit more expensive that 670 gtx which match with 7950 anyway.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Radeon-DirectCU-Graphics-Express/dp/B0072FAZPQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=AD5GMH6WL70S&coliid=I3OKSO7WIG3M2J
Another monster here. i don't know if the price will remain the same as amazon change the prices all the time due to the sellers.
But. look at this.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-FX-797A-TDBC-Graphics-DisplayPorts-Dual-Link/dp/B006W3ZU4U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3IFQZ4SWNQOPQ&coliid=I2AOJL4RPY7ZGH
The black edition.(standar 925mhz has 10 pounds less)
1000 Mhz for that price( i wouldn't even oc it tbh) its REALLY good. Is it worth?

And just to clarify here, all this is mostly hypothetical. I don't know exactly my budget range, but surely i will have a budget when i will be ready -financialy- to talk about pc buy(probably after this summer's season). Im just mad (in a good way) about Pc parts and i 've done 5-6 Pc systems in amazon wish list, just to "play" around.
Graphic card seems to be the toughest but SURELY the most funny part of a Pc build.

You have the UK links so you must be from the UK.

Sadly from other people experiences there customer service is bad and slow. There warranty is that they given by the retailer.

But i recommend someone to reply about the information above.

There graphics cards are good and strong, I had a 5870, 5770, 7970 ( my brothers really ) and they overclock good and really strong ( as in it has not died on me yet ) . Gigabytes are the beasty cards in my experience, there warranty + customer service are good smile.gif

I own 2 xfx 7970 reference cards perssonely they are ok. mine work good But, if I had it to do over I would have waited on the asus or msi 7970s
but these became avaliable the quickest.

I have owned an XFX DD 7870 Ghz and an XFX 6870. the DD 7870 has had great cooling with its two fans and i have loved the card. on the other hand, the 6870 i used to own runs quite hot. it only has one fan that has begun to malfunction now that it is in my brother's computer. the fan would randomly stop, overheat and the computer would shut off. i sent it out to XFX for an RMA. first off, they took over a week to respond, another week to process the card and to say there is nothing wrong with it, but it is a faulty card, i dont know what they are saying. now i guess they are shipping it back

bottom line, I have been dissapointed with XFX customer service and the quality of their one-fan cards. I would go with a gigabyte or other card if i had to choose again.

Thank you Guys. Generally what you recommend from all that i'm saying?
In every price range i picked which card do you suggest? =]
Another question just to clear out about Xfx's cooling system and fans.Without much overclock does it gets really hot and noise is really concerned ? For example is evga's cooling system better and quiter (for nvidia's cards) from what Xfx gives for amd cards?

Ok lets clear tihs out.
What do you recommend from
Asus 7950 dcii v2 TOP
Vs
Xfx DD 7970 black edition (1000mhz) with 30 euro more.
Is it good deal for 30 euro more to buy a 7970 already overclocked a bit?(i would not oc it more)
Does the xfx runs a lot hotter and louder or i will not notice it?
With the 7950 asus i would oc it like 1050 mhz core clock.
Which from these 2 do you recommend?

Also a second one.
Club 3d 7870 Joker (925Mhz)
vs (Same price)
Xfx 7870 DD (1000 mhz).
Again here, i would like to know about noise and heat from these 2(This time the quiet one is the xfx as joker has reference cooler).
I would oc xfx @ 1100mhz and the tahiti one at 1000 Mhz probably but i dont know about the heat.If it would run hotter then maybe stock. (Dont say about sapphire 7870XT,it 35 euro more expensive)

Thank you.I hope this time get some answers smile.gif
