my overclock doesn't work?

hello everybody!

I am new hear biggrin.gif

last week i went to market and got intel celeron D procesor!
they say it is good for OVERKLOCKING (making the computer faster)!
my friend kirrill tried to put in in my computer but it dont fit!
Sombody at computrstore told me I need new motherbord so he sell me nice motherbord for 5320 roebels
my friend kirrill put it in computer and computer now work!biggrin.gif

now i tryd overklock my computer
i set the thecomputer klock at 2:20 when it was 1:20 standard...but my computer IS NOT going any faster mad.gif

after i try to set +2 gmt..but my computer IS NOT going any faster! I do not now what gmt do?

you tink the man from the market give me BAD CPU?boxing3.gif

PLZ HELP!!

yes what you need is a turbo....your going to want at least 12 pounds of boost and a nitros tank too then it will be vewy vewy fast...

First of all welcome to OCN,
I'm not sure to take this to be a funny post..

but the celeron D processor's wont give you much power to begin with. Not necessarily it wont do any good overclocking, but you may not see much difference in speed.

I skipped over what you did with the overclocking part (i didn't understand GMT) but if your computer turns on then more than likely you have an OK CPU. (i've only seen once instance of that happening ever)
