If you dont mind the huge size and the crappy RMA the Asus GTX 680 CU II card is near dead quiet even when overclocked and under heavy load

Thats the 2 GB i cant talk about the 4 GB version of the 680 which uses the same cooler as the Asus GTX 670 before next week when i get my Asus 4 GB GTX 680

GTX 670 and 4 GB GTX 680 is dual slot 2 GB GTX 680 is triple slot

I would honestly go with an evga 680. The warrenty that evga provides is simply second to none, and their customer service is a pleasure to deal with, every time. As when it comes to 2gb or 4gb, I would go with the 4gb version. Just in case you feel like you want to sli in the future you would be able to make use of all the VRAM. If you are worried about the noise, you have several options: one, you could keep the stock fan profile and sacrifice lower temps. Two, you could go with an aftermarket air cooler on your card. There are many options and they are not hard to install. Three, you could stick with air cooling for a bit, and grab up a waterblock for the 680 and put it underwater. smile.gif honestly I would go with option two I you aren't planning on going to a custom water cooling loop. Hope his helped you!

Yes 4gb 680 is gonna be

Why is their rma so bad? Every single asus product I had never had any issues (I love my current nt56u router).... I like the fact they have a phone I can call

As for why I'm inclining for the asus is cause I won't water cool Till next year and like I posted on my picture my computer is inches from me and the price difference from gigabyte is not much

Does gigabyte have better support?

My current card is a evga gtx460 sc with 1gb .87 ASIC score and its top 3 video card I've ever own .... I love this thing!!

The thing I hate about it is the insane noise it produces under load fans over 45% and the one fan blower pushing 70 degree air into my room! My case is big and cool I don't mind a bit of the heat in it! My delided i5 with the noctuna dosnt break 60 degrees under full load @4.8

ASUS RMA in most of countries ( including mine ) doesn't have a good RMA...If you never had a problem with them, then good for you...not sure why ASUS is "like" to do this....considering their product is incredible quiet, reliable, have a nice aesthetics, etc...

Not sure about Gigabyte in US, but in my country, Gigabyte have a SUPERIOR Customer Support.
