Up to you. Really It depends on what you are looking for, I bought mine knowing its stand sucked huge giant bananas (I knew i was going to mount it). If it was me I would buy one with a display port and a DVI because it gives you options on how to connect it.

Go look at the clubs of the Catleap, and Crossover. They can help you the most over there.
Small wonder.

2nd GTX 670, 2 more 1080p monitors in the next month or two.
Don't expect to be maxing games out with full settings on 3 monitors

Shimian or similar 2560x1440 monitor.
Also won't be maxing out with one card but the large monitor will make all sorts of things feel a lot nicer to use

Wait for the 770 or 780.
Not enough of a jump in performance to wait really IMO

Save up and wait for Ivy Bridge-E.
No point for gaming over your current setup.

Thanks for the input, solid analysis/advice, REP+! I know that either way I won't be able to max out games all the time, and I don't expect to. I am kinda tempted to go with surround because I will be able to get it sooner, and if I decide that i want to go for the higher res monitor, I can sell my monitors to a friend who I know will do anything to get a discount, and upgrade.

In that case, just go that route. With 2 670s you'll still get nice frames just turn down the AA a bit and you'll be just fine. The only reason I shy away from surround mostly is because I always hit the frame buffer limit with games maxed out, turn down AA and it's a lot better.

^^^ This.

Once you go 1440p or 1600p, there's no going back. 120Hz/3D and surround all have their place, but not on my desktop. 30" 2560x1600 baby.

Thanks for all of the helpful advice man, rep again. I usually don't max out the AA so I think that that would work out pretty well for me. I kinda wish that I would have gone with the 4gb 670, but at the time I didn't feel that 4gb was necessary

Yeah, I think the same thing too some times but the only time I have ever run beyond the 2GB buffer is having everything maxed out (including AA) and running at 4960x1600... 2GB is plenty for the most part, haha

Owns a Achieva Shimian 27" 1440p. 2GB 680 runs pretty well. Definately recommend going single big IPS over multiple TN.

My suggest

1. Buy a 1440p monitor

2. Get a Second 670.

You don't need much AA when you use a 1440p monitor...hell, even without AA you still won't notice any difference, until you put your eyeballs with 1 - 2 inch distance into your monitor.
