3770k Multiplier Dropping (Prime95) - Page 3

ok so you have those settings I talked about in the bios under oc tweaker screen

long duraction, short duration and current plane etc... and additional turbo voltage

I am not 100% with your board never had one for z77 but I believe most change short and long duration to 250 and current plane to 140

yes alot of them have an "auto" only option

the only one I can adjust is additional turbo voltage

I know I just read your manual you have to increase those or when your current draw gets too high it will throttle the overclock to save on power consumption

what bios version do you have you can check that in cpu-z make sure its the newest one under the mainboard tab on cpuz btw

I see. Just trying to figure how to get more options.

you should be able to change those are you overclocking using the multiplier or turbo multiplier

The ones that say auto with a white background bar can't be changed to anything else. I am overclocking using multiplier not turbo.

use turbo and then change those setting and you will be fine

edit: even using turbo those settings won't let me change from auto

lol its the same man its more complicated on your board because of turbo voltages but it is the same as if you use your way just you board doesn't allow you to adjust current unless you overclock via turbo
