Small/ Smallest Box to drive 30" 2560 x 1600 LCD via Dual link DVI-D / DisplayPort?

REQUIRED:
a - VIDEO:
- Barebones Box/ Ready Box / Motherboard/ Case:
I'd like find the smallest box/ machine / Barebones or HTPC Media Streamer Box that has
the Video Hardware to support & Drive 30" 2560 x 1600 LCD at Native Resolution
- On board or added Video Card:
Integrated or Dedicated GPU to support this resolution (Intel, AMD or NVidia - No preferences here, any of them will do)

b - PORTS:
- Dual link DVI-D
AND / OR
- DisplayPort

ADDITIONAL BONUS:
- eSATA/ USB 3.0
- LAN/ Gigabit LAN
- WiFi (Optional)

UPDATED REQUIREMENTS SINCE THE ABOVE IS TOUGH TO FIND:
If I cant find more such options I am considering an alternative route as well as suggested on another forum.

Preferably Mini-ITX or grow it to Micro-ATX
The older MacMini A1283 had a MDP and mini-DVI. The newer ones have HDMI and thunderbold.

I don't know about the PC world. But it might be easier just to go for a mITX mainboard you fancy and get a low-end graphics card with two ports.

Since this is such an uncommon combination, now I am thinking in that direction. So let's say I update this as following, what would you suggest:

mITX board (Low priced if possible, but reliable)
- USB 3.0 | eSATA
- GigE RJ-45

Video / Graphics Card (Low low price since I am not gaming at all)
- Supports: 2560 x 1600
- Dual Link DVI-D
- DP | Mini DP
- Small / Compact / Low Profile
- Low Power | Low heat

Bonus if it can drive both together or multiple of the above ports

Bonus if MoBo has Thunderbolt (This might make it more expensive so this is not REQUIRED, but NICE TO HAVE).

You want to play games at high on it or just stream?
If you want to stream you can go as small as 18x18x2 (cm)

No gaming requirements - Streaming and General stuff.

Can you point to some examples/ suggestions? I've had a hard time trying to figure out which machines (Bare bones Boxes & Boards) support the Resolution.

Are there certain things to look for that would help me find the prospective candidates.

Dual link dvi of any DP 1.1 and higher will do.
A second factor is the effort you're willing to put in if you make the case yourself you could go very small if you buy a pre build one you can still make it small but no as small as custom could get you.

For the 2cm height example Mini-ITX DQ77KB is a good board that board has all that you're looking for bundled with the intel IGP will do for streaming.

You might want to wait for Haswell however it will only be a upgrade in terms of power consumption maybe a 10% improvement in cpu power and a 50% improvement in IGP/gpu power. (depends on the need for this new system)

Thank you for the nice suggestion.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121622 - Found it. - Linked to Wrong Board - This has great reviews for PFSense.
It doesnt seem to have Dual Link DVI-D support does it?

- It is a nice board with lots of stuff on it - More than I could thin/ ask except for eSATA.
- It needs a CPU and a GPU? Or had Intel GPU built in?

- Maybe its a little higher in price than what I am looking for UNLESS
- I can find a box/ PSU that wont add too much to the TOTAL $$ count.
- I cant MAKE the boxes, Is it possible to find something that FITS this one well in a compact package?

- Could you suggest any other Ready BOXES or Similar MoBos as well?

Additional:
A Hackintosh build here -
Using this Box (which is unfortunately now discontinued) -

No you won't need a gpu just and socket 1155 cpu with an IGP (there are only a few xeon models that don't include one so you'll be fine)
You could definitly get one that fits on taobao.com you can buy a mac mini 2012 enclosure for just 15 dollar(even cheaper if you get a B grade case with a scratch or a dent) then you buy the m-itx mounitng kit they also offer and a modified bottom plate and a low profile cooler and a little laptop 90W external psu, and there you have it.

This kit includes everything except for mobo and cpu http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.25.rNXhEV&id=16508278873
It is a good start if you have no idea where to start and it will certainly get you one of the smallest systems on the market while not having to fab it yourself.

You could also check out my build log for some idea's link is in my sig thumb.gif

I have been researching and considering buying OTHER stuff via Taobao. Any thoughts / suggestions on how to go about doing it? Have you shopped from tabobao?
I've read a bunch about Taobao agents etc. I wish it was as convenient as buying from Deal Extreme.

I myself use Bhiner.com gave me really good service and orderd about 3x with them.
Especially for ES procs psu's fans displays and radiators they come in handy.
Another site that you might wanna check out when sending bigger parcels is http://sendfromchina.com/ for cheaper shipping.

I'll look into them. So, I really like the Intel Mini ITX platform you suggested.

Are there any other MoBos that have DL DVI-D and DP (with 2560x1600) support? I looked around a lot and found bunch of Mini ITX with DVI output but cant be sure whether they support DL or not.

Cant remember if I found many of them with DL DIV-D and DP both. In your knowledge are there any? Or this is the only exception?

Once I am locked onto some MoBo platforms that work I'll look for cases including the ones you suggested.

Although my lazy bone is still hoping that there is a Zotac or similar ready box out there which supports both of them.

Are there any such boards or boxes that support Dual Link DVI-D - 2560 x 1600 ?
