I have a question about this cooler if anyone has experience with closed loop systems. I Apologize if this should go under another forum but this is a water cooler. I have a nzxt phantom and as you know this case has fan controller built into the case. I thought I would be smart and hook up the 120 seidon fan to the rear controller that was in place previously. Where it actually works well, I did have to buy a 4 pin to 3 pin sleeve from performance pc's. My question is when i'm sliding the dial I hear a weird buzzing noise about half way through the dial. When i hit a specific spot usually about dead center something is making a strange noise. It a small buzzing noise. I'm not sure if its the pump or the fan, but would this be normal. It does not make the noise when at low speeds or at high or really any other time other than when the dial is dead center. Just thought I would check because this seems strange to me, none of the other fans hooked up to this controller make this noise. The solution does actually work though as I can change the fan speed whenever I want, which is very nice.
