AMD 965 BE/ ASUS M4a*(GTD Pro USB3 OC

Since I've owned my setup, I've always ran a modest 3.6 OC. Yesterday, I got froggy...
Tempted to try for higher I learned a few things that were preventing +3.6 in the past due to heat.

On my MB, anything over 3.6 (200FSBx19) my MB automatically ups the Vcore from stock to 1.442. With this, I would see 60* after about 20 minutes of Prime95. Logically, I decide to simply override the Vcore to a lower rating to combat the heat. Well, my MB apparently doesn't allow direct Vcore inputs, rather you have to use a +/- offset. Fine, I dial it in, turn off Cpu LLC and get the results I'm looking for -- 3.8gHz and aprox 8-10* cooler than past runs.

One problem (?) I'm noticing is that anytime the cpu is taxed, the Vcore will droop (granted, i DID turn off the LLC) from 1.404 to 1.35x which is close to stock voltage (it will not run at 3.8 & stock Vcore, I tried) but the machine didnt fault/ fail with a quick 30 minute Prime95 run. So my overhead is almost non existent...

My question is, could I see and adverse issues OCing in this manner? I mean, other than the obvious potential for lack of stability (which isnt the case, I only found it became unstable running the same parameters but at 3.9gHz) I've looked around and haven't seen any cases of people running an OC of 3.8+ and not have their Vcores at 1.4 or above

I forgot to mention, my particular board only has 3 options for LLC -- Auto/Enable/Disable. Disable is what I'm currently using to mitigate the voltage/ temps, and both Auto & Enable will override any offsets in place and run it at 1.44 all the time.
