stock using what?

I ran a pretty simple OC on my 670 and got 61 fps, but was only seeing 95% utilization. Maybe CPU issue or something to do with all the file transfers I was running in the back

There is a problem with the i7 and ht and 2k will release a patch soon.

Would be good if they also did some benchmarks using the games built in bench tool for comparison's sake

My FPS @ 1440P with 680 SLI using the bench tool is 3x higher then what they get with a single 680. I can't exactly replicate their bench either due to it being a random part of the game they selected to test

One thing I do like with PCLAB is that they do a CPU test too. 8350 performing the same as the i3-3220, yikes

If AMD keeps up the Never Settle scheme, I'm definitely going to jump to the red team. thumb.gif

Was actually about to post, so ask which drivers they were using for this? Because I know NVidia just released drivers which specifically target Bioshock, and it was supposed to be something like a 40% performance boost on the 680. That would potentially take the 54FPS shown and boost it to 75FPS puting it ahead of AMD, assuming that AMD has not done anything to improve their drivers either.

Anyway, if it states it in the article then sorry, I unfortunately cannot get bing translation to work, and google translate is blocked at my workplace -_-

The article says they are using 314.22 drivers which is the one which improves Bioshock performance

Still, the numbers are way off other sites benchmark results. Perhaps its the particular scene they used to test or some other factor

Ah, thank you for the clarification. Yeah it did seem rather low for this game, considering it really isn't that great of a console port. I mean, nothing against the game itself, it looks amazing for what it is, and I am looking forward to getting it eventually, but overall, I dont get why this shouldn't be running at 60FPS even on a 500 series card. I haven't managed to see a compelling video showing the actual level of detail this game can pull out on the PC version, but like I said, it seems overall to be a pretty run of the mill console port with nothing really improved in the game to take advantage of the assumed better hardware.

Nice to see the 7970 still keeping up, even the Titan isn't much faster than the 7970GE.
