Gtx Titans numbers are embarrassing for a 1 grand card. The graphics card more than half the cost of a GTX Titan, HD 7970GHZ edition(Yes, I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a deal on them) but I believe they go for about $430-$460 now is better for price/performance. If this is the future of Nvidia, I think most of us will become ATI fans.

Also, a good post for those running 3d: http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3560
Great thanks I used
PoolSize=1200
MinSmoothedFrameRate=100
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120
and it is SO much smoother. Looks like I will do that 1999 run through after all.

Don't need pool size that high, default is 140, you can get away with 280, prob less. I'm on a 7950, have it set to 256 and didn't notice THAT much of a difference from default if any. I've heavily tweaked both of my configs, heavily tweaked. I run at 720p as to get 60FPS solid without dips, GPU use gets up to 80%+ in parts of the game. If it was set it up at 1080p, I'd have to change some settings around and sacrifice quality.

I doubt that, I run the game maxed out at 1080p and get hardly below 120FPS (w/ adaptive vsync on because my frames get to high and that causes extra heat and etc..). On the benchmark I got a average of 105.12 fps.

Depends on the bench you're looking at...

The difference is that guru3d actually used a good platform (3960X @ 4.6) unlike pclab that went with a stock 3570K...

Some options aren't enabled in the config, some are disabled if you change in-game settings. Notably are these:

HDAOHighQuality=True
EnableGPUOcclusionQueries=True

Depends on how you have it set up, for some reason my GPU Occulsion glitches out [edit: fixed apparently!]. Don't know why, friend's setup doesn't but I don't remember which config I edited on his. I could go through the config file for everything I've changed, just don't feel like it. Now I'm not sure exactly how much of a difference those make, I've also enabled this:

BokehDepthOfField=True

Along with some other settings that the game seems to acknowledge. As I said, I've HEAVILY tweaked the config file.

[edit]

Off the top of my head, I just remembered. I've changed LODBias on multiple things, also in the CCC Texture LOD is -1 for cleaner textures.

ERRR not going to write edit again, give me the default config in the program dir (Xgame/Config) and I could tell you what I have changed. I can't say now because I edited both configs, so when I delete my old config most of my tweaks carry over.

I'd lean on Guru3D more than some random/translated site I've never heard of anyway. Not only for the above, but:

Still pretty terrible in frame latency as well.
