^^^What speed is it clocked at?
Here is mine:

i7-3770k and MSI 660Ti PE (all factory speeds) with the number 2 setting (ultra dx11 dof) at 1920x1080.

Side note: CPU utilization never went above %35 and it was using about 1.5 gb of vram.

With the new driver 314.22

They really did a number on this when using a slow CPU for the test which bottlenecks the cards too much.

I think the guru3d results are a lot more realistic for the power of these cads.

Anyway, this is hands down the very best game I have played with for the last 10 years. The plot, the game play, they did an amazing job. Seriously, an amazing job.

That's how I feel, they have done a good job on a modern game with a classic feel. If I didn't get this in the Never Settle Reloaded, would purchase it asap anyways. Everything from the beginning to the end, it was an extremely well thought out game. I think it is the best game they made yet and look forward to any game they make again, an extremely good company. Even if the graphics aren't C3, and it is a "port" so to speak. They did a good job making it breath taking graphically, as well as amazing in story and how it plays.

My favorite is the side quests and secrets. I think a lot of casual gamers have been spoiled with "oh look, a secret" and you get an achievement. In this, some of the secrets are somewhat obvious but others are pretty well thought out.

I'm also on my 2nd run, 1999 mode. It's very gratifying, makes previous game's "hard" difficulties look pretty simple. I've had to dodge and weave, make actual strategy as to how I want to defeat a specific boss. Very fun.

If I had seen this review I probably would have been tempted to not buy it because it really under-represents how these cards run in this game.

Regardless, I got to Columbia and when I realised how bad the stuttering got in some places (Going from 60 FPS to 10 or so for a second every time I enter a new grid) I stopped playing and I'm waiting on a patch. Yeah I only run 1.5GB of VRAM but the same thing happens at all quality levels. I get the same performance at ultra that I do at low, so something needs fixing.

GENTLEMEN: You need to set in Steam's launch options for the game -ReadTexturePoolFromIni and then set the PoolSize in the Steam Config/BaseEngine.ini file to what you want (1200 works for me) and it totally helps the stuttering. Wow. Finally.

I'll have to try that, completely forgot about Steam run commands. That is an interesting find though. Maybe my heavily tweaked config might work better now. =)

Do not forget that PCLab.pl always test performance in game in most exacting place to GPU/CPU that they found.

As indicated on a charts, test took place in "the output of the square hall of heroes" map.

Anoyne has a GPU performance drops (2-4 sec) during entering a new area? I've noticed It occurs on NVIDIA drivers - it happens to someone on AMD?

Word of warning, ReadTexturePoolFromIni might cause scripting issues which could lead you in the situation I was at. The fink cypher wouldn't work, had to reload the entire area after switching that off. Sucks when you are on 1999 mode too. Also, I call BS on this now:

I've used a default config, reloaded my XEngine to stock and tried 1080p. You'll get 55FPS as a rough average with fraps, unless you are heavily overclocking or your setting's aren't Ultra. It's actually this post on this site that gives them a 60fps mark, an OC isn't going to put you at 105 unless you have some crazy tricks. So yeah, 720p AA/AF 8/16 (or edge 24) with everything turned on will get you around 80fps depending on where you are in the game. 1080p is going to get you around 45-50 as an average unless you start turning options off.

well, i went in my BIOS to OC my CPU a little further...and that's when i saw it....I was running my i5 2550k at STOCK :'(

Guess I never reset my overclock after a previous Mobo issue (I had a POST loop over and over again....almost RMA'd the darn thing)

So i just popped it up to 4.1ghz, nothing too far yet until I get my girlfriend's school work back onto her PC (that way I can cause havoc on mine)
