I get an average of 123.78 fps with 3x680s, which is almost 3 times the titan results on pclab test and almost 4 times their 680 result.
They really did a number on this when using a slow CPU for the test which bottlenecks the cards too much.
I think the guru3d results are a lot more realistic for the power of these cads.
Anyway, this is hands down the very best game I have played with for the last 10 years. The plot, the game play, they did an amazing job. Seriously, an amazing job.
That's how I feel, they have done a good job on a modern game with a classic feel. If I didn't get this in the Never Settle Reloaded, would purchase it asap anyways. Everything from the beginning to the end, it was an extremely well thought out game. I think it is the best game they made yet and look forward to any game they make again, an extremely good company. Even if the graphics aren't C3, and it is a "port" so to speak. They did a good job making it breath taking graphically, as well as amazing in story and how it plays.
My favorite is the side quests and secrets. I think a lot of casual gamers have been spoiled with "oh look, a secret" and you get an achievement. In this, some of the secrets are somewhat obvious but others are pretty well thought out.
I'm also on my 2nd run, 1999 mode. It's very gratifying, makes previous game's "hard" difficulties look pretty simple. I've had to dodge and weave, make actual strategy as to how I want to defeat a specific boss. Very fun.

Regardless, I got to Columbia and when I realised how bad the stuttering got in some places (Going from 60 FPS to 10 or so for a second every time I enter a new grid) I stopped playing and I'm waiting on a patch. Yeah I only run 1.5GB of VRAM but the same thing happens at all quality levels. I get the same performance at ultra that I do at low, so something needs fixing.
GENTLEMEN: You need to set in Steam's launch options for the game -ReadTexturePoolFromIni
and then set the PoolSize in the Steam Config/BaseEngine.ini file to what you want (1200 works for me) and it totally helps the stuttering. Wow. Finally.
I'll have to try that, completely forgot about Steam run commands. That is an interesting find though. Maybe my heavily tweaked config might work better now. =)
