140mm fan for Kraken rad

Recently got a kraken x40, first ever water cooling system. So far Im pretty stoked and really loving the performance. But I'm not a fan of the stock fan (lol). It has kind of an unpleasant noise when it speeds up. I have some Noctua NF-P12's in my case that I've been pretty happy with so maybe just a 140mm noctua brand would be better. Anyway Im looking for some recommendations on a replacement fan for the Kraken that's a little nicer sounding but can still move enough air to keep the solid performance I have so far. Price isnt really an issue as I will only be buying one fan vs an entire replacement set for my case. What do you guys think?

I recommend Noctua NF A-14 FLX 140mm fan.

Here is the Hightechlegion review

The NF-A14 FLX is obviously the most versatile fan in the lineup, and it performed very well in each of the configurations it was put into. On the X60 radiator, temperatures were very close to the stock fans that were spinning a full 50% faster, thanks to the NF-A’s high static pressure, and the NF-A14 FLX made a drastic difference in the noise levels of the X60. Noise levels were way down, and the X60 was a far more livable piece using the NF-A14 FLX. Mounted as case fans, the NF-A14 FLX moved considerably more air than the stock case fans, keeping temperatures down while showing no increase noise. At slower speeds, the NF-A14 FLX was incredibly quiet while still exhibiting excellent airflow.

Thanks for the input. Nice that its only $20. Its also nice that it mentions the kraken series specifically. Ill probably go with your recommendation as ive been extremely happy with my experience with the noctua brand. Thanks!

Another vote for the NF-A14 FLX i have one i use it as a case fan
yes i know its not the same but its still a good fan

You have to stick your face almost right next to the fan to hear even at max speed

That's fantastic to hear. I really value low noise because my pc sits on my desk directly to the right of my monitor. Even better that I wont be seeing reduced performance.

The NF-A14 FLX fan does a humming noise comming from the fan motor some say its annoying to listen to but i find i can only hear if i stick my head right next to the motor and my case is under my desk so i cant hear it in from of the monitor
