i dont have another one to try, however i've removed the cpu and closely inspected it, found a small burn mark on one of the chips, so i think its safe to assumy its blown cpu. I have ordered a i5-3570k

cpu is strongest thing in pc last to die, mobo would kill it tho but mobo should be gone to. pull ram hit power , pull cpu hit power, 1st thing to go in pc is ram hd psu mobo then cpu. any one could die in faster order deponent on use and quality

It is not beeping at all what does that mean? also when i unplug the 8pin cpu power it does start but the mobo cpu led lights up, probably because the cpu power is unplugged or is it a dead mobo, hmm if its a mobo that blows my cpu i dont want it to blow my new cpu

After reading this post it seems you have a dead CPU. I was in the same situation a few months ago:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1340449/did-my-seasonic-x-850-kill-3-cpus

I recommend replacing the mobo and PSU along with the CPU in case they may have kill the CPU. If you believe that your PSU is fully functional, then you can decide if it's worth the risk to use it with the new CPU and mobo.

Your mobo is not dead but it may have killed the CPU.

If possible, you should test each component individually to ensure that they do not need to be replaced as well.

Start pulling out unnecessary components. Take out gfx card, try starting, take out other gfx card, and try again. Take out a stick of ram, try, replace with other stick of ram and try again. Try to narrow it down to what would be causing this. But as you said, it is probably related to your cpu considering it starts when you unplug the 8 pin power.

It seems unlikely that something would happen to the cpu during usage though, and not during an install for example, or massive oc.

well if the cpu led stays on,,then its probably the cpu
have you inspected the motherboard for burnmarks or damage,,maybe remove the VRM heatsink and take a close look at them,,,,and everthing else,,,its to bad your speaker isn't working or you don't have one,,,it might have something to say also

you were overclocked to 4.7,,,,24/7 yes
