Can cloth mousepads be used for high sensitivities?

I'm in search for a new mousepad for under $30 w/ shipping. I have a palm grip and usually play with a rather high sensitivity(don't know the exact numbers). I think I'm going to get the QCK Mass, but what do you guys think, will it really be that much better if I get a plastic pad, like the 4HD?

what mouse are you using? here you can calculate roughly how much CM you need for a 360.

just letting you know that this **** is overrated. just get one of the classics like a QCK.
or the zowie cloth pad. or a 1337 mat.

Ok well fyi my sensitivity is 2.2 cm/360 degrees. I'm currently using a deathadder with 3500 dpi however I'll soon be switching to one with 5670 dpi. Yea idk I'll probably just get a cloth QCK.

You will be using a mouse with a laser sensor?

Won't cloth be bad for a laser? Your current 3.5 G D.A. should have decent tracking on cloth?

Yes the mouse I'll be using has a laser sensor, and the D.A. has formidable tracking on cloth indeed. I was unaware laser sensors don't work well with cloth, I'll have to look in to this.

and why would you want to change the mouse??? you wont gain anything from 5000 DEE PEE EYE.
If you want 6,400 D.P.I./C.P.I., the 4 G D.A. would be good for cloth pads.

I have huge hands, and the Deathadder is too small for my hand, I feel. So I've purchased the Func MS-3 for the nice palm grip design, disregarding the mysteriousness of Func.

The only thing I achieved by increasing my CPI beyond 4000 cpi was less accuracy. I used 3500 for a long while, but I decided to go 1600cpi and really like it.

If you want to go nuts and go beyond 3500 cpi, think t he DA 2013 is the only one than can provide 1:1 perfect tracking and I'm not so sure about that (I've read about some smoothing algorithms and stuff... enough to avoid new razer mice from now on). If you will go laser, maybe the PTE is a better option, with such high cpi you shouldn't be lifting your mouse, so the Z-axis issue is not an issue anyomore. Suit yourself with a RAT "transformer" or a Razer Imperator.

Im a 450 dpi man myself. But i dont understand how increaseng your dpi can lower ur accuracy. cant your just lower your sensitivity to compensate
