Will M5A97 EVO R2.0 work with FX 8350 out of the box ?

Hi there guys, first time poster here, i wanted to ask you a few questions about the M5A97 EVO R2.0.

So basically i am building a new pc now and after very extensive research on AM3+ motherboards (from the same price range) i have came to the conclusion that the M5A97 EVO R2.0 would be the best one to go for, i have not been able to find reports of VRM overheat or CPU speed/voltage throttle like there seems to be on all other non-Asus boards in that price range.

I would like to ask you guys a few questions before i actually buy it though, i plan to place the order on 2 April so if you post after that chances are Ive already got it.

1) Will it work out of the box, with no bios update or anything else with an FX 8350 ? I don't have any other AMD cpu's so if it doesn't run out of the box with the 8350 that would be kind of a major issue.

2) Do you guys think that is a good motherboard in its price range ? Any reasons why i should not buy it ? If you can recommend something better in the same price range i would be extremely surprised cause i actually spent days doing research on AM3+ motherboards.

3) I am not really an overclocker but i would probably try to run the fx 8350 @ 4.4 - 4.5 ghz would it be a problem with that motherboard ?

The rest of my system will look kind of like this, i say kind of cause i dont know exactly what i'll end up getting.

MB: M5A97 EVO R2.0
CPU: FX 8350 @ 4.4 - 4.5 GHZ
RAM: 8gb@1866mhz or 16gb@1600mhz
GPU: Nvidia gtx 660TI 2gb (yes i am aware i wont be able to run SLI on that motherboard)
PSU: Some decent 650W PSU.

Any reply is welcome !

Check out the AMD Motherboard VRM list in my Sig, It shows your motherboard's VRM would work fine with125 W FX CPU (It shows Green).

R2.0 boards don't need Bios update.

If you check their website, they only list their "new" R2.0 motherboards as being compatible.

The board's VRM should be good enough for the OC you want to get to, the only obstacle is if you have enough cooling, get a beefy aftermarket cooler like PH-TC14PE or NH-D14 or H80i you should be able to get there no problem.
