Advice wanted

So cut to the chase, I am new to water cooling scene and I want to do it right the first time. Essentially what I want to cool is my CPU and GPU with water based coolant.

Question 1.
The water passing from the cpu block to the gpu block if i have them in series consecutively, the water would be somewhat warmer. Would you suggest putting an intermediate single fan push/pull radiator between the cpu and the gpu blocks? Would there be a noticeable difference in temp, making it worth the extra money?

Question 2.
If I did't go with two radiator setup as above, would a single 3x120mm push/pull setup be sufficient enough to cool the cpu and gpu?

Question 3.
From what i have gathered, it is better to go with compression fittings over barbs, what is the difference?

Question 4.
Would this loop work on one D5 Variant pump for either of the below loops?
1. Pump > CPU > 1x120 rad > GPU > 3x120 rad > res
2. Pump > CPU > GPU > 3x120 rad > res

Question 5.
Case Suggestions? I currently have a Thermaltake Armor A90 and I don't see it cutting the chase for a water cooling setup, not enough space even using bay reservoir. I was looking at the NZXT Switch 810.

Budget is around 600$ for this water setup/build. Thanks for everyone's advice.

Question 1: Loop order does not make much difference at all. The water is going around the loop so fast that there is never more than 3 degrees temperature difference in your loop so you should go for the cleanest looking loop. So I would not put a the 120mm rad there.
Question 2: The general rule for rads often said here is that you 120mm rad for each water cooled component and an extra 120mm rad for headroom. So a 360mm rad would be sufficient for your setup.
Question 3: The difference is mainly just the looks. Compression fittings look a lot cleaner. Some people may argue that compression fittings are more secure but if you setup barbs properly with clamps they are equally safe
Question 4: one D5 variant would work for both of those loops with ease. You could run the pump on the lowest setting and it would still work.
Question 5: The NZXT Switch 810 is a very solid case for water cooling and has lots of room for upgrading to more rads and other things in the future.

For your first water cooling setup you could go with the xspc water cooling kit and then get a gpu block on top of it and you keep inside yout budget with a Switch 810 as well. This is the kit:

Looks like jd2195 pretty much hit the nail on the head. Unless you going to do a lot of folding you should be fine. I might add a 240 rad in the loop if you were going to add another gpu in the future or that could be done at a later time.
My only other advice it to just run distilled water and a silver kill coil, that will work perfectly.
