Yeah I've done all of that except lower the voltage manually and buy a new cooler. I can't at the moment.

I ran an overclocked 1045t on the stock heatsink with some success for a while. There are two things you can do to boost the stock setup a little.

1. Flip the heatsink fan upside down, so that air is being pulled away from the heatsink, not blown down on it. There are 2 slightly different coolers that shipped with Phenom x6's. On both of them, the fan can be safely turned upside down. Theres a couple reasons this works, the main one being the subject of mod #2.

2. Both the AVC and the Foxconn fans that ship with those coolers have a built in thermistor that regulates fan speed at the fan. Usually this interferes with mobo and software fan controls. There are 3 ways to bypass the thermistor...

a. Flipping the fan causes the thermistor to misread and the fan will run faster.

b. Disable the thermistor altogether. Usually this requires shorting the leads of the thermistor together. Its just a resistor affected by temperature. By shorting the leads together, it will cause the fan to run at full speed all the time. Then you can effectively use SpeedFan or your MoBo fan controls.

c. Replace the fan. I think it is a 70mm but I cannot remember exactly.

When I had mine, I kept my fan turned right side up after shorting the thermistor leads together. Then I used SpeedFan to control it. It worked pretty darn good until I bought a CM212.

OP, you should be a little more sensitive to the fact that hundreds of thousands of people were killed in Hiroshima than to use it in an analogy so haphazardly.

Could be CPU degradation.

Please get a better heatsink or manually overclock (or go back to stock).

A vcore of 1.43 seems way too high for a stock cooler.

Are you sure, you're not overclocked? Stock voltage should be 1.325v (or something around there).

I agree. Running my fx-8320 with the stock heatsink was the worst idea I ever had. Its running a lower voltage then yours and from what I've heard mine is very power hungry. Something must be off with the CPU voltage settings. I'd also suggested that you reseat the heatsink with some good thermal paste.

Having owned and overclocked on the stock cooler for a 1090t for a while I have a few suggestions.

1. It really sounds like either the fan is broken on your heatsink or it isn't seated right. (might have gotten bumped at some point) I would suggest reseating it with new tim.

2. A voltage of 1.43 isn't high at all, but it may be too high for the stock heatsink. Wtih llc some motherboards will push that at stock. The only way to circumvent this is to turn off any auto voltage control and manually set it. I would start at 1.35 and go down from there until you bsod running prime95 for a while. You can run a thuban officially up to 1.45 without problems, but I have seen people run them at 1.55 for years without problems. 1.6 volts under water (a bit crazy imo)

3. Make sure when measuring your temps you are looking at tcase max not core temps. AMDs max temp is 62c for a the temp of that sensor. They don't have core maxes for thubans because their temperature probes are faulty. If you are using hwmonitor for temps I am pretty sure that cputin is the correct sensor.

I am actually typing this on my backup rig which has a 1090t in it. I am idling at 1.25v. My old motherboard used to idle at like 1.37. I think it has to do with how the bios handles idle. For me, normal web browsing pushes my vcore to 1.35 and prime pushes it to 1.43. Even at 1.43 my heatsink (a stock heatsink from an athlon ii x3) can keep it under 60c. I know mileage will vary, but your temps should definitely be lower.
