[gamingbolt] Battlefield 4 was running at 3k Resolution at 60 fps (Radeon HD 7990) - Page 2

I expect the mp will be much more demanding though just like bf3, the mp simply as much more things going on, I can get 60 fps in the sp but in the mp nope.

On a serious note, If BF4 was showcased running at 3k res at 60fps with a Malta 7990, I wonder how will a single 7970 will do in 1080p?

Isn't the Malta 7990 just 2x7970's or is it actually more beefier than 2x 7970 gpu cores? eg. 2x 7980's if they were to ever exist.

check some benchmarks on bf3 the diffident from 1080 to 1440 is roughly the same as 1440 to 3k . so a 7990 preforming as two 7970 ghz would get 60fps at 3k makes sense but that means that the the engine has improved drastically, since the visuals has been hugely bumped up with no performance impact. if this is true than bf4 will run as good as bf3 but have a much higher visual fidelity. time will tell.

So then why don't they upload the video to their website in the native resolution?

After all, Dice work with EA and after the whole Sim City thing, I'm not going to believe their words if they can't back it up.

Real life.

(EDIT: I remember there was one WWII squad tactics flash game called Mudandblood 2, that had the motto: "Real life is just like this, with better graphics and no spawning points.)
