Updating Drivers on AsRock Z77 Pro4 Motherboard

Hello,

So when i first built my rig a few months back i installed the Drivers for my motherboard off of the DVD as the drivers thing has always confused me.

Recently i was shown how to correctly install the latest drivers on my video card.
  • I had downloaded the uninstall utility and run it to uninstall the outdated drivers.
  • Then i downloaded the latest driver @ http://support.amd.com (was previously getting drivers from Sapphires Website

So i guess my question is, is the process for the motherboard the same? Is their an un-install utility to remove all the old drivers, or?

Do i get drivers for my motherboard from AsRock's website, or?

Thanks!

Yes asrock has a program that flashes the bios for you, no other steps required than a restart.

I was talking about drivers not BIOS

There is a tool called Driver Sweeper which makes sure everything has been uninstalled nice and clean. I think there is even a tutorial on that http://www.overclock.net/t/651378/how-to-install-drivers-and-use-driver-sweeper/0_50. Also you mentioned something about video card drivers which means you probably do have AMD card. I would suggest you using this method http://www.overclock.net/t/988215/how-to-properly-uninstall-ati-amd-software-drivers-for-graphics-cards/0_50. But yeah to answer your question go for the Driver Sweeper it should work fine.
