I use those on mine. I agree that the stock feets are terrible, but so are razer's.

Well, thats a bit uncalled for. You might hurt my feelings.

Can always rely on some witless idiot picking at someones avatar to make them feel good.

I have it just to bring people like you out of the woodwork.

As far as performance goes the G400 is much better than the mouse you have, but you wouldn't notice this because you play SCII where sensor performance doesn't really matter since you won't affected much by things like prediction, lift off distance, low malfunction speeds, polling rate etc.

If you would like to switch to a better mouse that has a similar feel to the one you are using now wait for the Logitech G100s.

I think this post pretty much sums it up.

The three reasons you state before saying not too buy are the three reasons you should research items before you buy.
Its you own fault you did not look at the size, weight and grip style. Had you first looked for help here on OCN you would have been guided to a mouse more suitable for your grip style and with a weight closer to what you require.

Theres lots of help available here 24/7, theres always heaps of people online willing to help. So make a note that before you buy again...seek advice upfront to avoid being dissapointed.
Also for the record, yes i do own a G400 and its a great mouse for me and im happy to defend it, its so damn accurate and it fits my grip style well, that said i do have my gripes about where my little finger rests and the left button has gone shiny tongue.gif but these things are small and when you see how cheap the mouse is to buy...its easy to put these issue to one side.

Hope that helps.

I'm honestly surprised that this hasn't been a problem for me. tongue.gif

I love the G400 (and it's predecessor the mx518). The only problem I have is I'm on mouse #2 where the right button is fubar.

Greg

The G5 was/is a piece of crap, and it is EXACTLY the same shape as the G400. The G500 is almost the same shape as the G400 as well, just tweaked slightly, and definitely just as un-ambidextrous as the G400.

I currently use the G400 and just like the original poster, I pretty much despise the shape. The sensor at 800 DPI / 1000hz is about as good as it gets though. The only sensors that can compete are the original MS opticals and the Deathadder 3G (not 3.5 / 4g). I hear the Savu beats it, but I haven't gotten one yet.

Also, using sandpaper on the right side of the mouse to shave off the lip made it much more bearable to me.

The 3G is the same sensor as the G400, just an earlier version of it. Since the Savu, Deathadder, Zowie AM and EC Evo,and the G400 have the same sensor and no major firmware bugs, they are all going to be pretty similar.

The MS opticals are also supposed to be pretty good. I have a WMO 1.0, and I really wish they could make other mice this light. I also wish I had a WMO 1.1; the 1.0 sensor sucks.
